In this tutorial I will make heavy use of Camera RAW to edit a RAW picture from one of my horror photoshoots. I will show you how to create a demonic effect in Photoshop using almost exclusively Camera RAW and three textures.

The tutorial is made with Photoshop CC 2019. You can use any version of Photoshop but Photoshop CC is recommended.


  • You will need a computer with Windows or Mac OS
  • Minimum RAM memory for smooth running: 8GB
  • Photoshop CS6 or CC (previous versions work as well with some changes)

What will I learn in this course?

You will learn to create a manipulation from beginning to end. You will see the workflow I use and how I create impact by using different sizes for the elements of the scene and you will learn two color matching techniques.

Who is it aimed at?

This course is for intermediate users who are familiar with basic Photoshop tools and techniques.

  • Hi Andrei…I got this message when I tried to load the .xmp file into camera raw…”The Camera Raw settings in the selected “.xmp” metadata file are not compatible with this image”. I loaded may of your .xmp files for tutorial and they always worked well.

    • Hi. What Photoshop version are you using? It might be because you’re using an older version of Photoshop. The raw .NEF file opens well on your camera raw?
      By the way change your username to something different than your email to avoid getting spammed.
